GBA Library Opening Event

We had our ribbon cutting event for the GBA Library on the 6th-floor lobby area! In addition to gathering together and donating business related books/textbooks to the new library, we were also proud to announce the new leadership team of the GBA for 2022-2023!

   

   

GBA Apple Picking

The GBA invited students to connect post mid-terms and participate in a classic Fall activity – Apple Picking! Meet us at Dondero’s Orchard in Glastonbury, CT at 10 am on October 23rd for the opportunity to socialize and have fun.

GBA Post Finals Hike

The GBA invited students to connect post finals through a beautiful 5 mile hike in Simsbury CT. Students (and dogs) from a variety of programs came together on a beautiful sunny day to wander through the woods and see a beautiful outlook while having the opportunity to connect outside of the classroom.

GBA Escape Room Night

The GBA invited students to take a break from classes by participating in a virtual escape room. Teams had to break out of prison and beat the warden at his game. This fun yet challenging escape allowed students to use their problem solving skills, work together and break free from classes.
 

 

 

GBA Apple Picking

The Graduate Business Student Association (GBA) requested all students to join us at Belltown Hill Orchards in South Glastonbury, CT for a New England fall tradition: Apple Picking. The event was a real success.

UConn Football Tailgate

The GBA and Full-Time MBA program are hosted a tailgate at the UConn Homecoming football game, Saturday, October 17th at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.  We had a tent right next to the stadium with food and beverages as well as tailgating activities.  All Full-Time MBAs were encouraged to attend and plus ones were also welcomed.

GBA Thanksgiving

The GBA invited all to a Thanksgiving Potluck Thursday November 19th from noon to 2 p.m.  We had a turkey, and in the tradition of the first Thanksgiving, we encouraged people to bring a dish of your own.  The event was hosted on the 2nd floor lounge in the Spectra Apartments behind the GBLC.

GBA Alumni Panel Discussion: Entrepreneurship

Monday, April 1st 2020 at 4:30pm for our Alumni Panel Discussion. The event’s theme is entrepreneurship and will feature three distinguished CEOs. There will be FREE food & soft drinks provided and available for those who attend this event. We look forward to seeing you!

 

 

GBA Mixer

The GBA had a fun welcome back event for all graduate students at Hanging Hills Brewery. This was a great opportunity for new students to blow off steam with 2nd years. Free pizza was provided by the GBA.
